Frequently Asked Questions
What Startups does Freigeist invest in?
Freigeist is looking for startups at Seed and pre-Series A stage who have an USP based on technological advantage. This means that your IP can be defended or patented based on scientific or technological facts. Read more about our focus.
How long does the investment process take?
Our investment process is very fast compared to other investors and usually only takes a few weeks. This is due to the fact that we invest our own money and don’t have to involve numerous partners to make decisions.
How much money does Freigeist invest?
Freigeist usually invests between 500k and 2 million euros. However, the financial means only make up a small part of our investments. The much more important part is the amount of support we provide in the areas of communications, legal, technology, business development, public relations and human resources.
How does the application process work?
In respect to your and our time, we try to cover as much of the investment process as possible by several video calls with the relevant people of your and our teams. However, as a personal match of our teams is very important for our close collaboration, we will also arrange a personal meeting with all of our partners if the previous calls have been successful.
